With Guest Instructor
Dense layers of colorful frit awash on a glass canvas - this is
a truly unique technique -- honed by Richard LaLonde over 20
years of artistic journey. Working with a solid 1/4" crystal
clear sheet, dry crushed glass mixtures, a special liquid
line of glass -- and involving multiple kiln firings -
LaLonde creates fluid visions of incredible depth, clarity
and beauty. This is a special two - day workshop--taught
only at rattarart-- focusing primarily on the techniques he
is well known for, and a number of fascinating variations he
has been incorporating in recent works. Richard LaLonde has
conducted workshops and classes in various glass disciplines
all over the United States (recently: Wash. D.C.) and internationally
(recently: Norway and London) for over 20 years.
