Come learn the fascinating art of glass fusing for yourself!
This half - day introductory workshop focuses on the basics of
design, fusing and kiln forming -- with an emphasis on fulfillng
your unique ideas. Working in a beautiful artist - built studio
situated on fifteen wonderful acres just east of Redmond, WA.,
you'll be provided with all tools, instruction, materials,
and a beautiful array of glass colors to choose
from. After learning how to safely handle and cut glass our first
project is a 6" tile. While we watch these tiles fuse (melt) we have
our official circle-cutting demo, and then proceed into
designing and creating our main project - a 9-10" fully functional
plate or bowl combining glass and a handmade personal touch
that you will cherish forever.
